Molly M. Gadd, DNP, RN, CWOCN, APRN-BC, DHM is an advanced practice nurse, wound and ostomy specialist, educator, and expert consultant based right here in Northern Kentucky. She owns and operates the Newport location, so the person responsible for your care lives and works in the same community you do.
She earned her BSN from the University of Kentucky in 1988 and returned to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2011 — recognized as the first student nationally to bridge from BSN to DNP at UK. She later added a Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine degree in 2023 and became certified in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy in 2024.
Her career spans acute and critical care, hemodialysis, vascular and spine services, and long-term care management — from St. Luke Hospital to the St. Elizabeth Vascular Institute and Spine Center. Since 2012 she has served as adjunct faculty for the University of Cincinnati and as an ACNP-BC/CWOCN with Carespring Healthcare Management.
Molly's published research on pressure injury prevention and the Braden Scale has appeared in the Journal of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing and been presented at the WOCN Society National Convention. That same evidence-based approach is what shapes every drip, consultation, and hormone plan at Prime IV Newport.

After decades in hospitals, critical care units, and long-term care, Molly opened Prime IV Newport as an outlet for the positive change she wanted to create — a place where people could feel good about themselves, interact with licensed medical professionals who are genuinely dedicated to their well-being, and receive hospital-grade care with true medical supervision that supports the body's optimum performance.
The lesson at the core of it all is simple: in a service business, the client experience comes before everything else. It's our guests who allow us to show up every day, and their experience should be first-class in every way.
